Vikas Yuva Sanstha [VYS] conducted a baseline survey 1in 2001 and entered the area [cluster of
pockets] and named the branch as ‘Indira Nagar’ [ID] since January 2002 with IGP [Income
Generation Program]. By end of 2002, the organisation was ready to start FDP in the area, and the
work began in December 2002. Since 2004, VYS started ECD [Early Childhood Development] group
activity in the area
